Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge seeks a Banquet Captain to oversee banquet set-up and serve as the primary contact for events. You will supervise a team of banquet staff, ensure timely service, and coordinate with the Banquet Manager on event orders.

Requirements include prior server experience and the ability to adapt schedules to business needs. The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and excellent guest service in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server.
• Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and participate in banquet set-up and servers coordination.
• Read and interpret BEOs and follow instructions from Banquet Manager.
• Facilitate and lead departmental meetings such as pre- and post-meal briefings.
• Be the point of contact for each event and ensure timely service.
• Assign service stations to banquet servers and manage clean-up after functions.
