Job summary

Carneros Resort and Spa seeks a Banquet Captain – Back of House to lead backstage operations for premium events. You will plan, stage, and execute banquet elements, coordinating with Banquet Management and FOH teams to ensure flawless service.

This role emphasizes anticipatory planning and proactive readiness to support successive high-end events. As BOH Captain, you will manage staging, pre-sets, breakdowns, and Ready State standards, guiding Housemen, servers, culinary, and stewarding teams

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, hotel, catering, or event operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to read and understand BEOs, floor plans, and Run of Show.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate BOH preparations for banquets and events.
• Ensure readiness of equipment, linens, and service items for service.
• Direct breakdown, pre-sets, and post-event readiness to optimize the next event.
