The beautiful Hilton Portland Downtown is looking to add Banquet Bartenders to their events team! Here you will enjoy great perks such as complimentary shift meals and room discounts at Hilton hotels worldwide for you and your family!

Shift Pattern: Varying, union position, shifts scheduled a few weeks in advance

Hourly Rate: $17.65 plus tip pool

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• At least 1 year of bartending experience; banquet experience highly preferred
• Current OLCC and Food Handlers certifications
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine spirit to provide exceptional service to guests

What will I be doing?

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and responding to inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
• Mixing and garnishing beverages according to recipes and portion standards
• Presenting and serving beverages to guests
• Checking IDs and serving alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and regulations
• Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Stocking and maintaining the bar supplies and perishables
• Responding professionally to inebriated guests as needed
