Banquet Bartender (On-Call) - Hilton Portland Downtown (Finance)

The beautiful Hilton Portland Downtown is looking to add Banquet Bartenders to their events team! Here you will enjoy great perks such as complimentary shift meals and room discounts at Hilton hotels worldwide for you and your family.

Shift Pattern: Varying shifts, union position, requests made a few weeks in advance.

Hourly Rate: $17.65 plus tip pool.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of bartending experience; banquet experience highly preferred.
• Current OLCC and Food Handlers certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine spirit to provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar, including beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Ensure the quality and safety of beverage-related perishables.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed.
