Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional and memorable beverage service to all casino guests in a highly professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Demonstrate expertise in assessing situations, de-escalating guest concerns, and managing intoxicated patrons appropriately.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of drink recipes, beverage offerings, menu items, specials, and pricing.
- Prepare, mix, and serve beverages in accordance with established standard recipes and guest service expectations.
- Accurately and promptly register orders and process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Operate in assigned areas to take orders, present beverages, handle payments, and provide correct change.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization across all beverage stations, service areas, and outlets, including rearranging seating to prepare spaces for guests.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of, and strictly adhere to, all departmental policies, rules, standard operating procedures, and side work duties.
- Ensure clear, seamless communication and handovers between shifts.
- Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of bartending experience, ideally within a high-volume hospitality, banquet, or casino setting.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.
- Collaborative, friendly, and guest-focused attitude with a professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Must complete Responsible Alcohol Service Training and strictly enforce cut-off procedures.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings and obtain/maintain all required occupational licensing.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend, stoop, and twist while serving.
- Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs and maintain manual dexterity to handle glassware, trays, garnishes, and cash.
- Requires visual acuity, auditory perception, and manual dexterity to handle items and communicate effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while upholding a professional demeanor
- Capability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to move efficiently and maintain urgency during peak operational hours
