Doubletree by Hilton- Colorado Springs is seeking a friendly bartender for our busy bar and restaurant. You will take drink orders, prepare a variety of beverages including wine and beer, and ensure the bar area stays clean and sanitary throughout service.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, outstanding customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Prior food service experience is preferred, with solid time management and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Ensure all customer checks and daily sales are recorded in the POS.
• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
• Stock and track wine, liquor, and beer; keep glassware on hand and report shortages.
• Verify customer age with ID and serve alcoholic beverages per laws and regulations.
• Restock and clean as instructed, including opening and closing side work.

Compensation

$17 - $20 average hourly rate

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system
• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
• Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages
• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
