Job summary

Our busy restaurant is seeking a bartender with a positive attitude to provide excellent customer service for patrons at our bar. You will take orders, mix traditional and creative cocktails, and recommend beer and wine while keeping the bar area clean.

This role requires energetic, highly organized individuals with a customer-first mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and mix a variety of cocktails, beer and wine recommendations.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitary conditions at all times.
• Process payments, settle checks, and record daily sales in the POS system.
• Manage inventory and stocking of wine, liquor, and beer; communicate shortages to management.
• Verify customers' ages and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point of sale system
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more
• Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
• Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
