Job summary

Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced Associate to join the firm’s Bankruptcy and Litigation practice groups in its Scottsdale office. The ideal candidate will develop knowledge and skills representing corporate debtors, lenders, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings and in state and federal court on matters related to restructurings, asset sales, and business litigation.

Experience in bankruptcy matters in Arizona and elsewhere is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of commercial restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcies, including strategy, drafting, discovery, court appearances, and client communications.
• Review and documentation of commercial financial transactions, including corporate governance matters.
• Review, draft, and negotiate financing, workout, and restructuring documents.
• Review and manage financial due diligence.
