Hire Consulting Services is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney for its Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Litigation Practice Group in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school, be admitted to the Washington Bar (eligible to waive in), and possess 4–8 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency experience.

Responsibilities include handling loan workouts, enforcement actions, and complex litigations.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington in good standing; eligibility to waive into Washington; admission in Oregon and/or California is a plus.
• 4–8 years of substantive experience in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency matters.
• Experience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigation.
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring expertise with complex restructurings (Chapter 11/15/9 municipal insolvencies).
• Litigation skills: drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances in bankruptcy matters.
• Transactional background in distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.
• Strong writing, research, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple matters.

Responsabilités

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and stakeholders in bankruptcy/restructuring matters.
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructurings, and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation including enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosures.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements and pleadings; prepare related filings.
• Advise clients on insolvency strategies and risk management.
• Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation (Chapter 11/15/9).
• Provide strategic guidance to creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases.
• Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts (in and out of court).
• Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
