Job summary

Itau US seeks a skilled Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technology teams. You will translate requirements into clear specs for new enterprise applications and enhancements, supporting production operations and vendor coordination.

You will bring hands‑on experience across the application lifecycle, including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with a focus on banking systems and data‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required.
• 2+ years of project implementation or project management experience.
• 3+ years in banking or financial services, preferably Private Banking.
• 3+ years evaluating, implementing, supporting, debugging, and troubleshooting third‑party software.
• Experience with core banking systems interfacing with satellite systems (BI, AML, reporting, data warehouse).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC practices and application software support processes.
• Hands-on development, testing, and troubleshooting skills across databases and web tech.
• English fluency; Portuguese desirable.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, technical specs, test plans, and training materials.
• Develop and maintain design, development, and technical documentation per SDLC.
• Build and support data‑driven business applications in a hands‑on role.
• Participate in UAT, defect tracking, and production issue resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, IT teams, and business sponsors.
• Contribute to project estimates, cost‑benefit analyses, and delivery planning.
• Ensure system performance and quality align with standards and customer needs.
