Job summary

BankUnited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner with IT and business units to drive initiatives meeting regulatory, revenue, and efficiency goals. The role focuses on gathering requirements, writing user stories, and maintaining backlogs within an Agile/DevOps environment.

You will coordinate QA/test efforts, collaborate with Product Owners, vendors, and development teams, and ensure traceability of requirements throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in gathering user stories and managing backlogs in a DevOps environment.
• Experience with Agile and waterfall software development techniques.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, test plans and test coordination preferred.
• 2-4 years of Banking experience supporting applications preferred.
• ServiceNOW experience required.
• 1 year of experience working in Cloud AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions to gather requirements and help stakeholders to write user stories.
• Define the backlogs and lead the team to promote the program.
• Provide strategic and detailed support to the Product Owner on significant projects and initiatives within an agile framework.
• Participate in daily scrum stand ups, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate test plans and user acceptance testing to ensure requirements traceability.
• Govern the User Stories dashboard and ensure timely document approvals by stakeholders.
• Maintain requirements inventory and validate traceability to testing.
• Identify best practices to grow the Business Analysis community of practice.
