Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related experience.
• Or Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
• Banking/financial services industry experience preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence tools preferred.
• Familiarity with agile and/or waterfall methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates/defines specifications for operating software applications or maintains complex existing applications.
• Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and develops programs and related procedures to process data.
• Prepares charts and diagrams to aid problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution.
• Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts.
• Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs operating programs in coordination with IT operations and user departments.
• Reviews progress and evaluates results and reports inconsistencies to management with recommendations for improvements.
• Some business groups may require on-call support rotation after hours and/or weekends.
• This position may support the RegionsConnects Application Support Team to ensure stability and timely issue resolution.
