Job summary

Morgan Automotive Group is seeking a Banking Specialist to join our Tampa, FL accounting team. You will review vendor invoices, post and reconcile manufacturer invoices, and assist in month-end closing.

Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds is helpful.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with integrity and strong work ethics.
Proficiency in Excel basic formulas & VLOOKUP is helpful.

Responsibilities

Review vendor invoices ensuring proper approval and PO# expense to proper account; reconcile invoices to statements for batch payment no later than 20th.
Post and reconcile Manufacturer invoices to monthly statements.
Process check requests and allocate expenses accordingly.
Maintain related schedules (sublet, advertising, factory) and make notes as needed.
Post advertising budgets and verify invoices to budget.
Perform monthly accruals as needed.
Assist in month-end closing duties.
Prepare and file 1099 forms annually.
