Job summary

First Citizens Community Bank is seeking a Universal Associate to provide timely, courteous service and handle customer transactions accurately. You will assess financial needs, promote bank products, and participate in sales and referral programs while maintaining daily balances and complying with regulations.

The role includes processing teller duties, opening deposits, and maintaining customer accounts, with a rotating Saturday schedule and about 38–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• One year customer service and cash handling experience. (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience. (preferred)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
• Ability to effectively use general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Exemplify FCCB’s standard of delivering exceptional customer service every time.
• Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
• Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
• Constructively interact with co-workers.
• Takes care of Teller/New Accounts tasks including cash handling, deposits, and account maintenance.
