Job summary

First Citizens Community Bank is seeking a Universal Associate to provide outstanding customer service, process transactions, and promote banking products. The role requires accuracy, adoption of sales culture, and adherence to regulations.

The Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) handles deposits, account maintenance, and related duties, with a typical schedule of 38–40 hours per week, including rotating Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service and cash handling experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience (preferred).
• Bilingual Spanish (a plus).
• Ability to use MS Office Suite and related program software.
• Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
• Ability to effectively use general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Exemplify FCCB’s standard of delivering exceptional customer service every time.
• Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
• Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
• Constructively interact with co-workers.
