First Citizens Community Bank in Towanda, PA is seeking a Universal Associate (Teller/New Accounts) to provide friendly service, process transactions, and open and maintain deposit accounts. You will identify customer needs and promote bank services while upholding accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Hours average 38–40 per week with rotating Saturday shifts. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in daily duties, and a strong customer-focused sales culture within a community bank environment.

Qualifications

• One year customer service and cash handling experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common banking software.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
• Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
