Job summary

First Citizens Community Bank is seeking a Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) to provide timely customer service and accurate transactions. You will assess customer needs and promote bank products while supporting a strong sales culture. The role includes daily balance maintenance and occasional Saturday shifts.

Holds a 38–40 hour week with benefits; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred to excel in this position.

Qualifications

• One year customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
• Bilingual - Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assess customer financial needs and suggest bank services and products.
• Promote the bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances and balance the drawer.
• Follow procedures in compliance with banking regulations.
• Develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
• Interact constructively with co-workers.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and handle related maintenance.
