First Farmers Bank & Trust in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Senior Retail Training Specialist to develop and deliver training programs for our retail banking teams. You will onboard new hires, design engaging sessions, and partner with branch leaders to strengthen customer service and sales skills.

The role requires banking experience with training or branch leadership, plus strong communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.

Competenze

• 3+ years of banking experience in training or branch management
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, policy and procedure, banking products & services, and regulatory requirements
• Must maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with staff and customers
• Experience training retail leaders is a plus
• Proficiency with training software and platforms is desirable

Mansioni

• Assist with development and execution of comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees
• Support onboarding plans for new hires with Branch Managers
• Train retail managers on software (Prelim, Premier and Klarivis), lending practices, and policies
• Conduct training sessions on banking products, services, sales, and compliance regulations
• Provide ongoing support to retail branch staff
• Assess training needs through surveys and management consultations
• Create training materials, including manuals and visual aids
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and adjust content as needed
• Stay updated on industry trends to keep content current
• Provide one-on-one coaching to employees as needed
• Collaborate with department heads to address training needs
• Attend career enrichment or continuing education sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Retail Training & Development Coordinator
• All other job duties as assigned
