Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to provide a high-quality client experience by handling a range of transactions and promoting digital banking solutions. The role includes outbound client outreach and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in teller or client service roles, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support team sales through outbound calls and referrals to branch teams or specialists.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) for Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and risk management controls.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling branch workload.
