Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Technical and Operational Documentation Specialist to develop, review, and maintain banking center procedures. You will work with managers and SMEs to ensure procedures meet policy and regulatory standards, manage the library, and publish updates.

The role emphasizes strong communication, detail, and collaboration across Legal, Compliance, and Training teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience documenting procedures in a financial services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance or risk management in financial services.
• Advanced MS365/Microsoft Office suite knowledge, including macros/VBA.
• Ability to work with SMEs and management to develop, review and publish procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document steps and requirements to create procedures per Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the company-wide Procedures library and archival system.
• Present procedures for approval to management and department heads; manage lifecycle and ticklers.
• Organize procedure changes and coordinate with SMEs to update content.
• Ensure clear standards, formats and content; field questions on documentation standards.
• Coordinate with Training, Legal, Compliance and ER to ensure regulatory compliance.
