Job summary

Northbound Executive Search is seeking an Operations Specialist for an international investment bank, supporting the deposit and administration team through an internal system enhancement.

You will manage payment and ACH clearing, record payable transactions, assist with testing during the system conversion, and help settle cash and securities while coordinating with Middle and Back Office managers to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Must come from a strong deposit and administration background.
• Experience with a firm that underwent a system conversion/transition.
• Previous middle/back office experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s payment and ACH clearing process, handling sensitive wire transfers and checks.
• Handle and record all payable transactions.
• Assist with testing initiatives as the company converts to a new operational system.
• Work on settlements of cash and securities for the firm.
• Interact closely with Middle Office and Back Office managers to help mitigate risk.
