Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Syndicate & Brokered CD Middle Office Associate to support post-trade processing from execution to settlement.

You will partner with trading, sales, operations and finance to ensure accurate processing and timely settlements in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 1–3 years in capital markets or middle office, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and DirectBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in capital markets, fixed income trading support, middle office, operations, or a related financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the post-trade processing lifecycle for Syndicate and Brokered CD transactions from execution through settlement.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between trading, sales, operations, finance, and external counterparties.
• Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, settlement discrepancies, and reconciliation breaks in a timely manner.
• Validate trade allocations, trade economics, and position accuracy across internal systems.
• Assist with daily profit and loss (P&L) reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Support new issue syndicate transactions, including order management, allocations, and settlement coordination.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of operational controls, procedures, and process improvements.
• Identify operational risks and elevate issues appropriately to management.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on automation, scalability, and operating efficiency.
• Maintain a strong control environment while delivering a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.]
