Job summary

VERVE A CREDIT UNION is seeking a Member Experience Advisor I to serve as a member ambassador across Oshkosh and Neenah branches, handling transactions, opening consumer deposit accounts, and taking applications for credit cards and unsecured loans, while explaining features and regulatory terms clearly.

You will ensure compliance with policies, assist with digital banking, and seek opportunities to deepen member relationships to support Verve’s growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six (6) months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, check cashing, and official checks.
• Verify endorsements, signatures, and proper identification; always maintain confidentiality.
• Open and close all standard consumer deposit accounts, adding, changing, or removing beneficiaries and Payable on Death designations as requested.
• Clearly explain consumer account summaries, product features, and regulatory terms in language members understand.
• Handle “Red Flag” identity theft prevention procedures accurately.
• Assist members with digital banking tools and problem resolution.
• Adapt to varying branch procedures, layouts, and workflows while maintaining consistency in service quality.
