Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations preferred.
• Ability to learn core banking systems.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and create a welcoming environment.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, checks, and official checks.
• Verify endorsements and IDs, and maintain confidentiality.
• Open/close consumer deposit accounts and manage beneficiaries.
• Explain account features and regulatory terms clearly.
• Assist members with digital banking tools and problem resolution.
• Take applications for credit cards and unsecured loans/lines of credit.
• Promote Verve products and participate in branch/community outreach.
• Balance cash drawer and process ATM / night deposit transactions.
• Follow BSA/AML and Patriot Act requirements; complete annual compliance training.
