Job summary

Providence Bank – North Carolina is seeking a friendly teller to handle branch transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Superior customer service is essential as you balance cash, answer questions, and cross-sell bank products across branches.

You will perform paying/receiving duties, balance the cash drawer, and assist with outages or account issues while ensuring BSA compliance. Travel for teller training is required, and a high school diploma is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel for teller training.
• All Providence Bank employees are responsible for BSA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Superior customer service – greet customers, be friendly, use customer’s name and thank them for business.
• Perform paying and receiving teller duties: check cashing, deposits and payments.
• Balance the cash drawer accurately.
• Answer account-related questions for customers.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Research outages and customer account issues.
• Provide coverage to all branch locations.
• BSA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
