Job summary

Republic Bank is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Fern Creek area. You will uncover loan and deposit opportunities, promote growth of the core customer base, and lead a client-focused sales environment inside and around the Banking Center.

Responsibilities include selling retail deposits and loans to consumers and businesses, cross-selling for additional lines of business, and managing referrals while ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of financial industry experience required.
• Previous lending experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the driving force for the financial growth and success of the banking center.
• Sell, open, and maintain retail deposits and loans to consumer clients; solicit existing clients and walk-ins.
• Develop and maintain business relationships by limited outside calls to business/personal prospects.
• Lead the sales function at the Banking Center and manage staff sales skills.
• Manage existing client base of deposits and loans for growth and retention.
• Handle loan maturities, renewals and delinquencies for consumer/commercial portfolios.
• Resolve customer escalations and build community ties around the Banking Center.
