Job summary

The role requires strong outside calling, teamwork, and readiness to drive deposits, loans, and fee income while maintaining compliant, high-quality customer service. Travel and occasional evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of financial industry experience.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Proven ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• NMLS registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the driving force for the financial success of the banking center.
• Sell, open, and maintain retail deposit and loan products to consumer and business clients by conducting outside calls and referrals.
• Develop and cultivate new and existing business relationships and referral networks outside the banking center.
• Lead the sales function, coach staff, and set a strong sales tone.
• Manage the client base of deposits/loans to support growth and retention.
• Manage loan maturities, renewals, and delinquencies for the portfolio.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Engage with community groups and networking to expand reach.
• Coordinate referrals to Treasury Management, Commercial Lending, Mortgage Lending, and Nest Egg offerings.
