Job summary

BTC Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers in our Tipton, MO location. The role requires handling routine account requests, answering inquiries, and performing daily banking tasks with accuracy and courtesy.

You will balance checkbooks, process transactions, and assist with ATM/debit card applications, while upholding bank policies and delivering exemplary service to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering service.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as funds transfers, stop payments, and inquiries about deposit products and services.
• Research and resolve customer problems, acting as liaison between bank departments when needed.
• Cross-sell bank products based on customer needs and bank program standards.
• Verify information on ATM/debit card applications against customer records.
• Balance customer checkbooks and process paperwork for service charges rebates.
• Open, update, and manage ATM and debit card records in the system.
• Coordinate notifications to customers about check orders, debit cards, and holds.
