Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank is hiring a Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Floater out of its Great Neck branch to support Nassau and Suffolk County locations. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, inquiries, money orders, cash advances and checks, and assist with new accounts and loan processing.

The CSA-Floater will open/close the branch and promote bank products, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in day-to-day operations. Prior retail banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide account services to all Dime customers.
• Expedite deposit and withdrawal transitions accurately.
• Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of Dime products and services to provide appropriate solutions to customers’ financial needs.
• Possess current knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Report under the Bank Secrecy Act requirements related to Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and Dime internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Report.
• Respond to inbound Dime customer inquiries.
• Support branch manager’s business development efforts through in-branch sales, phone and direct mailing campaigns.
• Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews to ensure data accuracy for SOX 404 purposes
• Review, submit, process, and close consumer loan requests.
• Make decisions within authority (overdrafts, overrides, signature guarantees) in lieu of absent managers.
