Job summary

Midland States Bank is seeking a Universal Banker Trainee to provide outstanding customer experiences and learn the full range of banking products and services. You will guide customers to the right solutions using needs-based questioning and help achieve personal and team goals.

The role includes supporting daily teller duties, participating in weekly coaching, and traveling for training as needed within the market. Equal opportunity employer with a focus on community service.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Sales and customer service background.
• Ability to: Stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and transport coin and currency bags as required (bags may weigh between 25lbs and 50lbs).
• Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences and promote banking products and services.
• Place customers in the correct mix of product and services through needs-based questioning.
• Meet and/or exceed performance and production goals established by the Banking Center Manager.
• Serve as relief/backup teller at Midland States Bank locations as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and participate in training activities.
