Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, identify sales opportunities, and perform account transactions at the Banking Center in Ohio.

You will open new deposit accounts, handle cash drawer duties, and refer customers to business partners for the promotion of bank products and services. The role emphasizes outbound onboarding calls, prospective Retail customer outreach, and active promotion of banking products to grow Retail banking

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Cash Handling, Sales, and Customer Service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Personally models the standards of the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
• Initiate conversations to assess the financial needs of Banking Center customers and refer customers to business partners for promotion of bank products and services.
• Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions.
• Responsible for opening new deposit accounts and operating a cash drawer with proper balancing and cash handling.
• Complies with security and audit procedures.
• Consistently achieve production and referral goals through relationship development, including consultations, outbound calls, partner referrals, and onboarding calls.
• Communicates and partners effectively with branch staff to promote a team environment.
• Sets priorities by monitoring performance against goals and adjusting activities as needed.
• Educates bank team on uncovering opportunities to advance financial wellness.
