Job summary

FirstBank is seeking a Banking Center Operations Manager in Broken Bow, OK to lead daily operations, drive sales, and enhance customer experience while ensuring compliance. You will build a high-performing team and partner with the Location Manager and HR on people matters.

You will oversee staffing, coaching, and performance development, and ensure policies and regulatory requirements are met. This role emphasizes community involvement and service excellence in a dynamic banking center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of three years of management experience in banking, financial services, or retail.
• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, influence, and lead teams toward shared goals.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily work scheduling and workflow to keep operations running efficiently.
• Create a positive environment where teamwork, collaboration, and service excellence thrive.
• Act as a role model for frontline staff by leading through example.
• Ensure operations comply with bank policies and all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the banking center as the primary operations leader, aligning day-to-day strategy with the Location Manager.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development for the team.
• Provide regular coaching, one-on-one meetings, and feedback to drive engagement and accountability.
• Balance high expectations with support to promote individual and team success.
• Partner with Location Manager, HR, and COO on employee relations while ensuring policy adherence.
• Maintain accountability for compliance, risk, and audit standards while delegating daily tasks.
• Address operational issues and drive long-term solutions.
• Oversee branch facilities, marketing materials, and overall customer experience standards.
• Ensure all transactions balance at close of business and oversee cash-handling procedures.
• Periodically verify cash on hand to safeguard assets.
• Represent FirstBank in the community through civic and business organizations.
• Build visibility and credibility through local events and partnerships.
• Support community-based sales initiatives and outreach with Sales Ambassador Director.
• Complete required compliance training annually and adhere to policy.
