Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a Customer Service Advisor to deliver outstanding service, open new deposit accounts, and identify referrals for banking products and services. You will support customers with transactions and promote financial solutions with colleagues across the bank.

You will engage in proactive outreach, build Retail customer relationships, and maintain security procedures while meeting banking center goals through teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of banking experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of Cash Handling, Sales, and Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate conversations to assess financial needs and refer customers to business partners for promotion of bank products and services.
• Accept and accurately process all financial service transactions and open new deposit accounts.
• Follow security and audit procedures and protect customer information.
• Achieve production and referral goals through relationship development and outbound calls.
• Collaborate with branch staff to promote teamwork and meet location goals.
• Provide outbound onboarding calls to acquire new customer relationships or expand existing ones.
