Central Bank in Lexington, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative (full-time). The role supports customers with a variety of banking transactions from Teller and desk areas, with sales responsibilities and strong product knowledge. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service experience; teller experience preferred.

The position offers full-time hourly compensation with benefits and opportunities for growth within the bank. Training within 90 days is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of banking products and services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Teller duties and cash handling within limits.
• Lead as a sales advocate for banking services.
• Open/close accounts and ensure proper documentation.
• Build relationships to achieve sales goals.
• Handle inbound calls and maintain records.
• Conduct audits and maintain internal controls.
• Assist in consumer lending and payment processing.
• Process account maintenance tasks.
• Lease safe deposit boxes and manage vaults.
• Open/close banking center securely and prepare courier bag.
• Back-up CVT duties as needed.
• Train new tellers/CSRs and mentor staff.
• Assist with ATM balancing and product knowledge tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
