Central Bank & Trust Co. in Louisville, KY is hiring a Customer Service Representative (full-time). This role supports customers with a wide range of banking transactions from the Teller counter and desk side, delivering friendly service and accurate processing.

Responsibilities include selling bank services, opening and closing accounts, maintaining records, and assisting with audits and day-to-day branch operations. Strong communication and product knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year customer service experience in retail or equivalent sales preferred.
• Teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Teller duties: deposits, cash handling, balance verification and receipts.
• Sales leadership: promote bank services and refer to Investment, Wealth, Insurance, and Mortgage centers; partner with branches.
• Opens and closes accounts with proper documentation.
• Establishes and deepens relationships to meet sales goals and provide service.
• Answers calls, greets customers, maintains records and prepares reports.
• Performs audits and ensures internal controls in the banking center.
• Assists in consumer lending by taking loan applications and processing payments.
• Generates account maintenance and manages deposits and endorsements.
• Opens/closes banking center safely and manages courier bag.
• May train new tellers/CSRs and mentor staff.
