Job summary

First Merchants is seeking a customer-focused banking associate in Michigan's Lambertville area. You will respond to customer requests for transactions, answer inquiries, balance cash, and support daily operations while protecting customer privacy and following security policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing the banking center, participating in a high-performing sales environment, and making referrals to promote bank products to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve problems.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, vault and ATM.
• Understand and ensure compliance, regulations and reporting.
• Follow information security policy and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing banking center.
• Actively participate in a high performing sales environment by selling bank products, making customer referrals and other activities to support the goals.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings and coaching sessions.
