Job summary

Amerant Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist in the St. Petersburg, FL banking center to provide teller and platform-based transactions, assist customers with digital solutions and educate on consumer and small business products.

You will help manage lobby activity, support mobile and online banking, and ensure regulatory compliance while building strong customer relationships and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum Work Experience: over 5 years in bank sales/service.
• Education: High School or GED required; AA or BA preferred.
• English required; second language helpful in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing and teller transactions.
• Open new accounts and perform maintenance on the Bank's platform system.
• Educate customers on consumer and small business products.
• Support digital channels (Online/Mobile Banking) and Lobby management.
• Refer prospects to other lines of business as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC and AML-related requirements.
