Job summary

SmartBank is seeking a customer-focused frontline associate to greet clients, answer questions, and help with teller transactions. You will learn our banking products and services, while protecting client confidentiality and supporting branch operations.

The role requires strong customer service, basic math, and clear communication. Regular attendance, the ability to work Saturdays, and alignment with our core values are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of banking experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients warmly; direct them to the right branch personnel.
• Assist clients in person or by phone with questions or concerns; maintain confidentiality.
• Process deposits/withdrawals and balance cash drawer accurately.
• Process loan payments and utility payments following proper procedures.
• Handle account maintenance requests (address changes, stop payments, etc.).
• Support ATM balancing and daily branch operations.
