Magnolia-State-Bank-1 is seeking a Teller to perform routine branch and customer service duties, handling deposits, withdrawals, and payments while promoting bank products and maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires accuracy and compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. A high school diploma or GED and cash handling experience are preferred; candidates must have a valid Georgia driver’s license if required for duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training; cash handling or customer service background preferred.
• Basic typing skills to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Receives retail and commercial deposits and issues receipts.
• Cashes checks, withdrawals, cash advances; ensures proper authorization and limits.
• Operates computer terminal to process account activity and resolve issues.
• Issues official checks.
• Assist with night depository duties and related tasks; logs bags and processes deposits.
• Cross-sell Bank products and services, refer customers to staff as needed.
• Perform safe deposit duties and assist customers with access.
• Accept loan payments and balances; balance cash drawer daily.
• Provide effective customer service and resolve problems within authority.
• Process FICA payments, traveler’s checks, ATM deposits, and related tasks.
• May assist with vault operations and balancing.
• Prepare routine letters and forms.
• Demonstrate respectful conduct, integrity, and alignment with bank values.
