Responsibilities

• Processes transactions accurately and efficiently
• Smiles and greets customers, demonstrates good customer service skills
• Identify customer needs, and strive to meet those needs or direct customer to someone that can
• Controls teller cash drawer limits
• Follow bank security policies and procedures
• Maintains an acceptable over/short difference
• Cashes checks within assigned limits
• Accepts deposit withdrawals and payments
• Issues official checks
• Redeems savings bonds
• Process night deposits under dual control
• Uses a personal computer to enter customer transactions and look up customer information
• Back up Head Teller as needed with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipments
• Back up Customer Service Representative as needed
• Maintains knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures
• Keeps up to date with required Compliance courses and appropriate tests
• Follows proper procedures to comply with BSA, including OFAC scans and CTR filings
• Fills in as needed at other CBC locations
