Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 2 years of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balances cash drawer and daily tasks to maintain branch integrity.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money in cash drawer and prompt accounting/transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients, anticipates needs, and offers proactive solutions.
• Deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank’s products and services and stays current on changes.
• Discusses and uncovers customer’s financial needs to identify and offer products.
• Supports referral goals for the branch by referring basic bank products to the appropriate partner.
