Job summary

Minimal education is a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred. Strong math, communication, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling, teller experience or customer service.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks.
• Understanding of basic math concepts and cash counting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional demeanor and superior problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships through quality interactions.
• Identify customer needs and make referrals through service efforts.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other negotiable items.
• Safeguard assets and ensure security while processing transactions.
• Balance a cash drawer with extensive cash handling.
• Respond to service charge questions and account maintenance needs.
• Maintain knowledge of processes, products, and services offered.
• Verify endorsements, IDs, and detect counterfeit currency.
• Meet and greet the public in a professional manner.
