Job summary

WaterStone Bank in Wisconsin is seeking a Teller who will accurately process deposit and loan transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. You will identify sales opportunities and refer customers to Bankers for additional products and services.

The role requires attention to detail, compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers through a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cash handling and/or customer service experience required
• 2-4 years cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Support sales by identifying customer needs and referring to Bankers for further assistance.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Answer questions and resolve account issues in person or by phone.
• Stay informed about industry trends that may affect the bank.
• Recommend changes to policies, procedures, and products as appropriate.
• Operate in full compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
