Job summary

The role requires a High School diploma, 6+ months cash handling, and 6+ months in retail or financial services; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Flexibility to work weekends and non-standard hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months previous experience in retail sales and/or financial services experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
• Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends and occasional non-bank operational hours.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Process checks, cash and the sale of negotiable instrument transactions adhering to the banks current policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer daily and monitors own work for accuracy.
• Provide product and service information and refer sales opportunities to support goals.
• Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements and audit procedures to protect assets.
• Proactively helps to resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct and safety procedures.
• May be assigned vault responsibilities.
