Job summary

Peoples Bank and Trust seeks a courteous Teller to interact with customers and process routine banking transactions. You'll advise on products to meet customer needs and maintain accuracy in cash handling, while representing the bank professionally.

This role reports to the Frontline Manager and requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy branch environment. Prior banking or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years banking or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers according to service standards.
• Recommend products and services based on customer needs.
• Cash checks, deposits, and basic transactions.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist with mail and night drop transactions.
• Answer teller-related issues on incoming calls.
• Assist with vault balancing and money ordering.
• Represent the bank positively in the community.
• Support the bank’s High-Performance Growth strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
