Job summary

Grand Savings Bank is seeking a friendly Teller/Customer Service Representative to serve as the face of the bank and deliver exceptional service in all customer interactions. You will process routine financial transactions, assist with accounts, and help open new deposit accounts while promoting banking products and digital tools.

In this role, you will balance cash daily, resolve customer inquiries, and maintain strict confidentiality in line with security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cash-handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable learning new banking systems.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service to customers in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
• Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Open new accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.
• Educate customers about bank products, services, and digital banking tools to meet their financial needs.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash levels in accordance with policy.
• Assist with resolving customer inquiries, discrepancies, and account issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all bank security and compliance standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain current product knowledge and compliance awareness.
