Job summary

FirstBank PR is seeking a Service Representative (Teller) to provide exceptional customer service while handling daily cash transactions in a PR branch. You will identify customer needs, refer suitable banking products, and support branch goals with accurate cash handling and adherence to policies.

The role requires strong communication, bilingual skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Occasional holidays and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of experience in sales or customer service.
• Minimum 24 credits toward associate or bachelor’s degree, banking-related preferred.
• Excellent communication and bilingual capabilities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Handle monetary transactions including checks, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Process teller entries and maintain accuracy during daily balancing.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML policies and regulatory requirements.
• Promote bank products and services to customers and refer accordingly.
• Provide greeter duties and support branch sales activities.
• Educate customers on alternative channels (mobile app, online banking, ATMs).
