Job summary

The First National Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a Teller to handle customer transactions and provide basic financial services. You will balance cash drawers, process deposits and withdrawals, and help customers with product knowledge.

Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential to deliver friendly service in person, via drive-thru, and by phone. Hours vary: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Cash‑handling, sales and service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and promote a positive banking experience.
• Engage with customers by asking questions and listening to understand needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, cashier's checks and change orders accurately.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers with correct currency and coins.
• Develop knowledge of bank products and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Utilize banking software and systems to process transactions and access accounts.
