Job summary

Heritage Bank’s Olympia campus is seeking a full-time bank teller to serve customers with friendly, efficient service. You will handle routine transactions, maintain an accurate cash drawer, and refer products as appropriate to meet customer needs.

The role requires 6 months of customer service or 1 year cash handling in financial services, a high school diploma, and willingness to learn DNA or Fiserv systems. Onsite in Olympia, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience is required.
• 1 year of cash handling and customer service in financial services is required for Level II.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and quick learning of new tech.
• Basic English reading/writing; bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and provides exceptional service.
• Performs routine paying/receiving duties with an accurate cash drawer.
• Promotes bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of customer requests and transactions.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Supports team with branch administrative duties as needed.
