Job summary

Heritage Bank in Olympia, WA seeks a part-time bank teller to help customers meet financial goals with exceptional service. Responsibilities include routine financial transactions, referrals of bank products, and maintaining a cash drawer with accuracy. The role supports a busy, on-site Olympia Main Branch with a schedule Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m., and flexibility for training or absences. Base pay varies by Level I or II and qualifications.

Qualifications

6 months customer service experience - Level I.
1 year recent cash handling and customer service experience in financial services - Level II.
High school diploma or equivalent.
DNA or Fiserv experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Performs routine paying / receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer in accordance with assigned Authority limits.
Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
Actively participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
Contributes to the success of the team by sharing in all branch administrative duties as required and assigned.
